IRPD Fall Feedback Session​
​
The 23-24 IRPD class hosted its debut feedback session on November 15, 2023. Students presented the projects they would work on for the rest of the year and sought feedback from prominent members of the community, including members from the FUHSD board, students, and parents.
IRPD x Ohana Halloween Fest​
​
On Saturday October 28th, IRPD students Mihret and Arshia organized an IRPD x Ohana Club Halloween Fest, creating more inclusive spaces for all members of the community. Students of all ages gathered together and had fun decorating pumpkins, face painting, and meeting each other!
Grass vs. Turf District Presentation
​
In August, Superintendent Graham Clark proposed a class project for IRPD—collecting student voices and conducting research to determine whether turf or grass fields should be used in FUHSD schools. Their hard work culminated in a final presentation to the FUHSD board at the district office, influencing a 24-million-dollar decision.
NSTA Atlanta Conference
​
IRPD students had the honor of traveling to Atlanta, Georgia to attend the NSTA (National Science Teacher's Association) national conference. They had the opportunity to present their work and the Stanford Design Thinking method as well.
IRPD Leadership Camp (6/13-6/15)
​
Over the course of 3 days, IRPD family elders had the opportunity to connect with each other and Ms. Gupta, learning all about the importance of being good leaders and collaborators. This prepped them for the school year to come!
